Growing Every Day...

We've been thru a whirlwind of health issues with Joe lately. He was sick for his birthday, so he missed his 1 year check up.

Sick on my birthday!

Then he had strep throat the middle of May, and then 3 weeks later he got it again. At the end of June, he was staying at my mom's and her german shepard bit him. He got 14 stitches. So finally when his stitches were removed--a traumatic experience in itself-- he had his check up.

He continues to amaze us at how tall he is

We are still waiting for him to walk by himself... I have expressed my concern to the doctor several times, but they still are not concerned as long as he is walking with push toys. He has quite a temper and when he gets mad he bangs his head..on the floor, the table, the sidewalk. This concerns us a little, but I have found from my googling that it is common in boys before they talk. So we have been trying to teach a little more sign language, but he is quite impatient. He has began to point at things and notice things more... It is amazing how much he likes his sister, and wants to play with her. He is such an amazing boy!
